One of my favorite movies of all time is "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and the month of March very much reminded me of the song about "Spring." The tulips came up right before St. Patty's Day, the bi-color iris plant was in bloom, and I got back into the wonderful world of gardening. I was able to plant a some veggies, well, more like 3 ,but I'll take what I can get.
Except for the mosquitoes that always seem to find her, Evelyn loves going outside for a few minutes with me every morning to water our little patch of sprouts. Her lingering cough from RSV kept us from going to Lehi Days:( She finally seems to be kicking it and I'm glad to that was our only missed activity. After having a pic-nick with my sister and her kids and venturing through the park in Fountain Hills on St. Patrick's Day, Evelyn had her 9 month shots. I liked the band-aids. She did very well and only cried for a few seconds this time.
After months of preparation Ryan was finally able to experience the Mountain Man Rendezvous the weekend of Spring Break. Here he is sporting his nearly done Capote, not to be confused with a bath robe. He had help cutting it out from his wonderful mom, but pieced, pinned and sewed it on his own. Nice! He had a great time there.
Hope to post again before the end of April...
