is it December yet?

I loooooove Christmas music! For as long as I can remember being part of a choir this time of the year has been as essential part of my Christmas season. I know some people get sick of the same, over-played, 99.9 stuff, but I'm not referring to songs like 'Last Christmas I gave you my heart' and 'Santa Baby.' I can sooooo live without hearing those too. I love the songs that are actually about Christ. What other season is there that gives public radio a reason to play songs about the Savior? Granted there aren't too many stations that would play Easter songs throughout March and April, but there aren't as many songs about the Easter Bunny as there are about old St. Nick either. I think it's great that we are able to hear songs about the Nativity provided on a public level. I'm sure not every nation in the world has that right, even Christian majority nations. So let those Christmas bells ring for as long as they can, I know I'll be tuned in as much as I can. I also found a great, free website with Christmas songs, about Jesus. It's nice to listen to while I check my email, or blog or do some gift browsing. Hope you'll check it out! www.yldsr.com
