Spring was here...

It's officially Summer to me when you have to put up the sun shade in the car at 9 am so it won't get ridiculously hot while you go in the grocery store. We were there a few weeks ago. So, it's been long enough since I posted that everything is in a new format. We'll see how I do. We've kept pretty busy with family events, Easter, and school for Ryan, which he finished last week. Hooray! So here's some of what we were up to during the rest of  March and April.

We've been wanting an entertainment center that will keep things a bit more out of reach for a certain little someone. This dresser was out in front of a house in our neighborhood with a sign that said FREE, so I convinced Ryan to see if we could spruce it up and make it work.

It wasn't as sturdy as he originally thought, and had a strange smell that lingered after sanding, so it's out, but Ryan has been inspired to build us an entertainment console from scratch, which is coming along nicely.
